Ranum Efterskole College undertook a project to refresh their logo and visual identity, and I spent nine months on the team, working closely with senior graphic designer Nigel Hopwood. It was an incredible opportunity to deeply explore the principles of visual identity, from concept to system-wide application.

The logo is based on the Tree of Life, inspired by a large tree on campus, and redesigned to be cleaner, more iconic, and visually harmonious. The surrounding circle symbolizes wholeness and protection, while concentric inner circles reflect the idea of “the middle,” referencing Ranum’s name. Circular forms in the trunk, stems, and leaves create balance, and the logotype is always centered, reinforcing cohesion across the identity
